Hip Hop

Ages 6 – 9 yrs

Welcome to our Junior Hip-Hop dance class for kids! Dive into the world of hip-hop culture, learning party grooves, popping, history, and music. Explore the five elements of hip-hop: Breaking, Graffiti, Emceeing, DJing, and Knowledge. Develop your own style through free styling and cyphering while mastering the rhythm of hip-hop music.  This is a progression from our Mini Hip Hop class. 

Musical Theatre

Ages 5 – 10 yrs

Musical Theatre classes involve a combination of singing, dancing and acting. The class focus is on jazz technique, acting out a character, and singing in a non-competitive atmosphere. This is an introduction to performing arts and will allow children to showcase their personality while building their confidence and imagination. Students will put together casual performances throughout the session that will include student made props and or set pieces.

Primary Ballet/Jazz

Ages 5 – 7 yrs

In this once a week combination class, both ballet and jazz will be covered every class. Dancers will focus on Royal Academy of Dance ballet technique and corresponding jazz technique to develop strength, flexibility, focus and discipline. Our inviting, positive and encouraging environment allows dancers to progress at their own pace and therefore gain self confidence in their dancing.  Choreography and class work will be demonstrated durning our in class Demonstration Days at the end of the session.

Grade 1 & Grade 2 Ballet/Jazz

Ages 6 – 8 yrs

In this once a week combination class, both ballet and jazz will be covered every class. Junior Tap/Jazz

Ages 5 – 7 yrs

Come and make music with your feet! Dancers will learn both Tap and Jazz in this class. Fun and energetic footwork required for tap is paired with the strong technique of Jazz, to build coordination, flexibility and a strong sense of musicality. With the use of dance props, engaging fun exercises and an introduction into dance history, your young dancer will leave class asking for more.
