Preschool Classes
These classes are for aspiring young students who enjoy music and movement. Through developmentally age appropriate instruction, students will improve their gross motor skills through dance exercises and movement games. Children will develop coordination and spatial awareness along with rhythm and musicality as they improve their ability to follow directions in a classroom setting.
Mini Combo
Ages 4 – 5 yrs
In the 45 minute combo class students will develop jazz, tap and ballet technique. Through a relaxed but structured environment young dancers increase their understanding for basic dance steps along with building their flexibility, coordination and musicality.
Mini Tumblers
Ages 3.5 – 5 yrs
This class is based off of the preschool AcroDance program and is taught by our trained AcroDance instructor. At the beginning of class the students will engage in a warm up to ensure their bodies and brains are prepared for class. Dancers will learn how to balance, roll and strengthen their bodies in a safe and age appropriate way. From stationary balances, rolls across the mats and a fun interactive obstacle course the children’s attention will sure to be captured.
Mini Hip Hop
Ages 4 – 5 yrs
This high-energy class is all about moving to the beat while learning old school Hip Hop grooves, breaking, and popping. Yet it’s not just about the dance steps, it’s also about embracing the hip hop values: love, peace, unity, and respect. Boys and Girls, Let’s dance, express ourselves, and develop the knowledge of Hip Hop together.
Pre Primary Ballet & Jazz
Ages 4 – 5 yrs
Dancers will learn both ballet and jazz. They will focus on ballet technique and fun jazz steps to develop strength, flexibility, focus and discipline. In an inviting, positive environment, the dancers will learn a variety of exercises and choreography that will be showcased at the end of the session. The Royal Academy of Dance syllabus is followed for the ballet portion of this class.
Musical Theatre
Ages 4 – 7 yrs
These mini performers will dance and sing their hearts out in our Mini Musical Theatre program. This class is an introduction to the performing arts and will build confidence, imagination and the love for singing, dancing and acting.
